I said i just can’t get into it.

I bet if you watched episodes of it back to back for a little while you’d get hooked. It’s oddly weird like that.

This is relative and not necessary for fan excitement. There are no feats on the field even in the NFL that just wow people because of pure athleticism.
Fans want something they can emotionally invest into. Unfortunately for the XFL they dont have anything I can relate to and foot for. The AAF does so ill watch that.

Did you see JuJu Smith-Schuster's TD catch yesterday? that wowed because of pure athleticism.

I'm more interested in skill than athletic feats, which is why I don't watch pro football.

But college there is?
If anything they are more skilled in pro.
I think football outside of QBs and Kickers has just become who's the best athlete.

To be fair, I don't watch much CFB outside of games that impact Alabama. If UA stopped playing football, then I would probably quit watching football altogether.

Damn
So what do you watch?
Alabama basketball?

Alabama football, Alabama basketball, hockey, and soccer. Not in that order. Gives me something to watch just about every day of the year.
I'd be surprised if the XFL lasts more than 3 seasons.

I didnt really finish my thought. Of course these dudes can do otherworldly athletic things. People have seen it though. It doesnt come with the same wow factor that it may have decades ago, particularly before the internet age

Ah gotcha.
Yea that's because everyone is a freak athlete though.
I guess it's just become the norm.

Without a doubt. We were all wowed when MJ dunked from the free throw line. Now you can probably find youtube vids of HS players doing it.
Being exclusionary is a smart decision by the XFL. You dont wanna be the NFL light, you want a different product.

me I'd rather watch the AAF if anything.
Not the XFL.
That said probably won't watch either.

Ill definitely give AAF a shot

AAF, XFL, FFL, yeah I'm sure all 3 leagues will not only survive but flourish. Solid investment.

Nothing will ever compete with the NFL especially in big markets.
No one is beating the jets or giants here. (same could be said about Philly, DC, Dallas, New England/Boston, Houston etc)
Motherfrickers are awful and people still show up to that shite!
And tickets are in the 100s, for nose bleeds.
