Since you seem to know your way around the Poli Board, can you decipher what half that stuff means in the replies to my post and others?

Was not a troll but about 10 downvotes for every upvote, not Pio level stuff but I appear to have upset folks and not sure why.

Link?

You talking about the Koch vs Trump thread?

You used CNN talking points to start a thread slamming one of the only guys trying to save America. You used those slanted talking points to elevate a globalist, that is working against MAGA. It shows that you are so weak, that you've started to believe the MSN talking points and propaganda. Then you act like you have no idea why you've recieved so many down votes from American loving Patriots.

I do not watch CNN

Neither one of these guys are trying to save America

1 is a corporate monarchist
1 has Narcissistic Personality Disorder and reminds me of Nero

My cousin worked in the Regan administration, neither of these fools are true MAGA

Hate to break it to you but I know Trump and his family personally, and have since childhood (and I am damn old).

American loving Patriots.

If they are true Patriots they would throw both families out of this country on their arse and we would all be better for it.

Look, you may be trolling (which I still do not understand) but my people have spent way more time around the Trump family and know the history for actually having been there.

I know, TL : DR but here is my street cred.

My Sicilian family emigrated to the USA after the Civil War and settled in NYC. The old neighborhood was pretty much either Italian Catholic or Eastern Jewish. My old man died in pretty good shape about a week before he made 100 and I am no spring chicken. While he was not in the Mafia, all the guys he grew up with in the old neighborhood were and they all knew each other well. It was a very closed community and Fred was the only one in the neighborhood who was not Catholic or Jewish. He was not Mafia but he did pretty much all his business with them and lived like a don (very plain house on the exterior and very lavish on the interior). DJT looks and acts just like most of the old dons I grew up around.

When DJT was young he was on the "do not date" list with all those Jewish and Catholic matriarchs. Aside from his dad, DJT's other primary mentor was Roy Cohen who got on the radar as Senator McCarthy's chief counsel during the Red Scare and went on to be the primary lawyer for the East Coast mob in addition to being DJT's early lawyer. If you want, this is an interesting quick read on Roy Cohen. His persona leeched into DJT and can be easily seen if you spend any time around him.

Not like the Kennedy money is clean as the old man was a notorious bootlegger during Prohibition and pretty sure old Joe had a hand in the Crash and Great Depression and profited handsomely from the misery of those around him. Bigger point is both sides are corrupted and blame each other while they pick your pocket clean. Seen it all my life but lately with the media help they fleece the masses while telling them all the stuff they are going to do for them.

I was working for one to the actual richest families in South Florida when DJT bought Mar A Lago from the old Post woman. He wound up developing that beachfront property in Hollywood (FL) on all the land of the old "carpet joints" (South Florida was Vegas before Vegas and every place in Vegas was first on that strip in Hollywood). How do you buy mob land if you do not already have deep mob ties.

Maybe you have been well brainwashed but I have not, and am old enough to remember what actually happened.

It shows that you are so weak

I can assure you, I am far from weak in both body and mind.

You may be right about everything you say, but there's not a dim alive that isn't trying to destroy the country. RINO's like Koch aren't lifting a finger to fight against the dim takeover. So we have Trump or DeSantis and you're attacking one of them. That board is 90% Patriot, but are split on whether they prefer Trump or DeSantis. You asked why you got down voted and I told you.

Thanks for the background

Not trying to attack either just think we need to find a new plan because so far blaming the other guy is not working for this era of the Republican Party. The more folks blame crappy Democrats or crappy Republicans the more they can keep picking our pocket.

Nixon was the last good foreign policy POTUS
Carter was the last real Christian POTUS

Since then we have let folks put up terrible candidates on both sides and we wonder why we are going to hell.

Why are almost all the SCOTUS Ivy League
Why do almost all the POTUS have Ivy League or elite private in their educations

350+ million people in the USA, why can we not elect a guy who went to a State school or did not have a head of hair? Ike was an awesome POTUS and neither party seems to have a candidate that could hold his beer.

If I were about 40 years younger I would.

I know I am blowing off steam but as the old guy in the room I can see the train wreck coming and can not figure out why the under 50 set is not seeing it or just burying their head in the sand. Just bums me out to see so much youth so angry at the wrong people and believe the wrong people as well.

*sigh*

Oh well, back to the normal OT where at least I can get a laugh or two a day.

We used to embrace the eccentric folks now we shun them.

I am perfectly willing to admit to some physical and mental defects, I am more worried by those who don't.

I understand the aim of your response is to demonstrate the collective mindset of the politics forum, but the leftist version of your argument is the opposite side of the same coin. You claim that he used MSM talking points (and he may have; I didn't see his post), but yours are essentially the standard-issue right-wing talking points that the left complains about. I'm sure he could do without you pigeonholing him into the "you're a sheep" camp because he may have said something about Trump that you didn't agree with.

The bottom line is these types of arguments do not survive in an open debate against a well-informed person. They survive in echo chambers online and only in homogenous circles in reality. Take for example the typical leftist "you're a racist and a bigot because you don't support xyz!" Those attacks can be effective online and in like-minded groups such as academia, but that's only because of the pressure exerted upon the dissenter by the collective groupthink. An informed person who is confident in his beliefs can easily refute such attacks, but when confronted by a mob, he may as well digress. The same would be true if a scientist tried to explain to a cohort of people who believe in "alternative facts" and get their news from podcasts and "research on YouTube" that this summer's Canadian wildfires were caused by dry lightning and exacerbated by drought and diurnal heating.

To carry on this point further, many people in today's society are too afraid to speak out because of groupthink. It's prominent on both sides, though I will completely agree with you that MSM propaganda has pressured millions of Americans into agreeing with what they should think, even if their conscience tells them it's bogus. In the age of mobs - both virtual and in real life - an increasing number of individuals are less apt to express themselves because they fear for their careers and reputations.

If you read all this, I appreciate you. Obligatory: Dear Facebook/Sir this is a Wendy's/tl;dr/melt bitch

The ones that would make the best leaders are too smart to subject themselves and their family to the opposing party dragging all their skeletons out of the closet.

It's to the point where I'm leery of anyone even wanting to hold office, at least at the national level.

Italian mafia is endlessly glamorized and publicized, as a diversion, to take people's attention away from the global mafia run by elitists in Great Britain, the United States, and Israel
