I would love to go. Sadly I have no place to stay down there and I'm strapped for cash at the moment. Would love to see Outkast again, see the Black Keys and my favorite hometown band...Moon Taxi.
However, my Uncle and his children live down there, so I tend to avoid GS/OB like the plague. I really don't want to end up in jail.

Only if they perform the entire ATLiens and Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik albums...
I've seen them a few times and they ALWAYS do both albums

Moon Taxi.
I saw them on New Years in Nashville and they were awesome. They were GREAT live.

Their recorded albums are getting better, but they're so much better live.
I went to HS with them. Back then they were known as "Apex" I have some hearing loss from sitting in the bass player's basement and listening to them practice. I know, CSB

Yeah. They're the epitome of trash. If I ever run into my female cousin, she's going to be picking rubber out of her teeth for months from my foot going up her arse.

We must not have been looking at the same lineup. Jazzfest looked meh.

This year is just perfect for my tastes, especially the first weekend. I thought last year was a little weak for jazz fest but still solid overall.

Doubt it'll happen. I can't afford the ticket price or a place to stay at the moment.

We established yesterday that Rebelgator has an "interesting" taste in music.

i didn't pay much attention to the music threads yesterday. I thought about finding the overrated thread again so i could post U2 in it.
I like the mix of talent jazzfest has this year. If I go clapton is clearly the main thing i want to see

I see two bands on there I'd care about seeing and I've already seen both.

I like phish, so I was happy about that surprise. But they won't play a traditional set and it'll be daytime so I'm looking forward to the excitement of them being at jazzfest more than anything else.
Clapton I saw at NO Arena last year and thought he was great, never seen Santana so I am excited about that, Robert Plant, Anders, Keb Moe is a real good live act if you have never seen him. String Cheese will be fun, Fogerty, All the stuff on the final sunday in addition to all the normal local acts and the gospel tent. Real well rounded lineup this year. I'm sure I forgot some but couldn't be more excited for the event.

I saw Phish at Jazzfest around 96 or 97 and it was a shitshow. So damn hot and crowded.
And yeah, it was just one set with an encore.

My buddy went to Clapton in the arena and said he put on a great show. I like the local acts

Yeah I was there and got lucky too. Had to get up there late on Thursday cause of class so missed basically the whole first day up to govt mule. We got there around 7 and pulled right in, somehow we went the back way and went around the big arse line. Got to camp and our neighbors said they just waited 8 hours. They were pissed we got in, in under 15 min. What a great weekend. Security was awesome too. Walked in with a bag of wine in my backpack every day
