Wifey and I just got our CHL's, too.

I want a revolver for Christmas

I've never once needed a gun, and I've lived in some very large cities. I've never even felt threatened. Anywhere.

Boyfriend has his permit, but he never takes it outside of the apartment. It's not allowed anywhere that he goes for the most part.

Meh, I'd rather have it than not Just a precaution I'll hopefully never feel threatened enough to ever use.

Dumbest shite ever, assuming that you didn't commit a violent crime.

Yeah, I'm of the opinion that a non-violent offender, as in never used a deadly weapon to commit a crime, should never have his or her rights to own a firearm and protect his or her family and themselves taken away because of some dumb offense that they could have committed when they were really young.

I know that a lot of states are starting to restore the right to vote to those that have served their time and completed post incarceration requirements, but the right to own a personal weapon should also be restored to those that have paid their debt and weren't violent offenders.
