Yeah I would check out the stuff and don't let that Dec 1 window close. That is usually the deadline for admissions and scholarship applications. Retake the ACT if possible.
Another option could be to go to a juco for two years and transfer. Get all your major stuff out the way and save money. I would only caution against this if you plan on doing something that will require you to go to professional school (I.e. medical, law, etc.). Long reasons behind this but other then that go for it.

Is it easy to transfer after 2 years to an SEC school? Should I apply early?

The only SEC school you would get into are your state schools, maybe. I'm going to assume you're in Mississippi and that's good news for you. Don't count on ANY out of state schools though
One of my roommates at Palmer hall got into Bama with a 2.75 GPA and a 20 ACT.. of course this was 8-9 years ago. I had a partial scholarship and I was an Honors student with 3.5 GPA and a 28 ACT.

Apply early? No. Apply midway through your second year.
Is it easy to transfer to an sec school? Idk. Someone on this site must know. If Ole miss is as easy as it is to get into I see why not. I think the standard gpa you need to transfer is 2.0. However, that means nothing if you are applying for your major when you get there. For example, if someone had a 2.1 and applied for admission to the major program I was in, they may get denied since there is a 3.4 requirement. Its easy to get into any school transferring, but can you get into your major of choice?

I like how everybody was lulz at my statement earlier and then it pretty much confirmed by people after that.
I was a 3.7 gpa with 29 on the ACT and I was accepted to A&M by a frog's hair.

Start doing heroin and consider prostitution (the legal kind). Just see where life takes you, and you might find a degree somewhere. At the very least, you should be able to write a book about your adventures and be on Dr. Phil.

You know how it's easy to tell that you're an alter? You have two posts not in this thread.
Did you really sign up for a sports message board just to ask about what school you can get into with your shitty GPA?
I don't think so.

Btw this isn't only a sports site and I posted this on the off-topic board so your statement is clearly irrelevant

Most new Ole Miss posters are alters. That's a fact.
