If you don't think North Korea isn't a threat to this country, you're fooling yourself.
They hate us more than any other country on the planet. Given the chance they'd love to plop a nuke down on any one of a dozen or more cities in this country. That's sure as shootin' a threat to this country and way of life.

As soon as NK does something stupid like launching a nuke, they will be wiped out. We may take some damage, but I don't consider them a threat to our freedom. They aren't going to storm our beaches or change our government.

Yes, there is and it’s called ideology.
American ideology is currently under attack, in case you haven’t noticed.
What is American ideology?
I’d say truth, Justice, Liberty, and Capitalism.
However, the enemy of these things cannot be defeated militarily.

You would be wrong.
America made it because we were the non inheritors (daughters and non first sons came to America to build a new country) yet since the 1980's and RR they have preached fear of others as a way to subjugate modern America and create a new monarchy that strips away the middle class and returns us to the European class model we worked so hard to escape.
