Oh I did learn I didnt receive the gift to be a programmer.
I don't know how they do it. I went to computer trade school and did so well on the math assessment that they put me in the programming curriculum. I finished it, but immediately finished the networking classes as well. Programming is so boring just sitting there all day. I can't stand it.

I don't know either. Some of us are gifted in other areas but programming was greek to me. Good thing God made us all different. If the world was waiting on me to develop the first computer the 70's game pong would still be a few thousand years out.

Joe Rogan did a stand up where he asked the audience what would happen if everyone outside of that room died and they had to rebuild civilization from scratch. He says "what I want to know is, if I put you in a forest with an age, how long til I get an email?" That's always been so funny to me.

First computer I can really remember using heavily was a TI-99/4A, which was a competitor to the TRS-80.

You had to use a TV as the monitor and a cassette tape player as the drive.
Can't remember what the next one was called, but it was an HP that came with a monochrome touchscreen monitor. Except the touch sensor wasn't under the screen, it just had little holes around the edge of the bezel that sensed where your finger was.

My folks threw mine out 15 years ago. Still annoyed about that.
