We aren't talking about at the time of the draft. We are talking about in hindsight knowing everything we know now, you still don't think he would take him or one of those other two?

He has said he would take Bowie still. They had to have a Center. They had Vandeweigh Paxson Drexler Kersey Mychael Thompson already
Where's Jordan playing? I mean he Albeck tried him at 2 and 3 and it wasn't working. Collins moved him to the point and rest is history.

Well then he's an idiot. I bet you there was a better center taken after Bowie for that matter. Hell it wouldn't be hard

Dr Jack Ramsey is an idiot? Wow, jus wow.

Willis was a 4 with elbow pads in reality. Dude would rebound though.

No but that's a damn foolish thing to say that he would still pick Bowie if given the chance to change it.
Posted on 7/30/13 at 11:58 pm to sms151t
actually he was a 7 foot forward/center

He has said he wouldn't change it. They ended up getting Duckworth few years later. He was a head case but he helped them to 2 finals.

Then he's either handicapped in his old age or he's lying to save face

Do you know who his second first round pick was that year?
This is why he says he wouldn't change it btw.
They also can't make the trade to get their last pick in 2nd to get Kersey.

I just looked it up. Bernard Thompson. Played 1 season with Portland an was out of the NBA in 1989. That's his reasoning for not changing his pick if given the option?
Posted on 7/31/13 at 12:09 am to NorthGAVol
They got Bernard who was supposed to be a 2/3 so they got their back up to Drexler and Kiki
Then they are able to trade to get Kersey in 2nd, because they had their C.

The mistake was by Washington with Turpin.
But people don't talk about that at all. They should've taken Alvin but hey I'm glad he went on to be a rapist in Tejas.

People don't rag on them because the GOAT and Barkley were gone by then.

Barkley was a reach at that time. Best thing ever to happen to him was getting run out of camp by Knight.
Plus the Clippers were dumb, like usual to trade for World B Free

But not in hindsight which is what we are talking about here
Posted on 7/31/13 at 12:19 am to UMRealist
But even in hindsight does it make MJ or Barkley etc the players they are if they're not getting time because they're same position as someone else already an AS?
So you can't have it that way plus do they play with players that compliment or build around them, no.
