If you missed the Simmons-Rivers exchange here it is. Got pretty awkward on the set lol.

Doc Rivers said, "I want to call him an idiot, but I'm too classy for that."

On National Television during an interview ... way to keep it classy Doc and not tell the world you think he's an idiot.

When Wiggins goes #1 next year, that will be 2 straight drafts with a Canadian going #1

Kobe is taking next year off. Dwight is leaving. Lakers tank and take Wiggins #1 and the whole world cries foul while Kobe sits on his throne and laughs maniacally while collecting the tears that have fallen

Don't worry. Miracle trades are our specialty. We'll have something in place in time

What did you think of Ryan Kelly? I like his skill set but I just really do not like Duke players historically in the NBA. Especially tall white ones

I like the pick. My top 3 laker picks were taken earlier so i was just going to wait and see who we picked and go from there. Hopefully the duke curse was destroyed by kyrie

This fricker can flat out shoot and space the floor. I like what that brings to a dantoni coached team. From what I've seen and read leading up to the draft, he has above average passing and can put the ball on the floor time to time. Now I don't know how much he will end up putting the ball down in dantonis system but he can do it if needed. His shooting and passing is beneficial

I was hoping for a SF but a stretch 4 is fine by me. Look this pick sends one big signal to me. Its that laker management is embracing dantoni and his system and are putting together players that will fit in that system. I approached this draft thinking we will be building the team around the players we have. Instead, we are building around dantoni. And for that, we made the right pick

I expect Ryan to contribute sooner rather than later

Things between Doc and Simmons are escalating

quote:

“Bill’s a fan,” Rivers said. “Is he qualified to do the NBA? Well, we can debate that all day. But Bill’s a fan, and I get that. He’s not a friend of mine or a fan of mine and he never has been.”

quote:

@brohrbach

Doc on @WEEI about @BillSimmons: "He did everything he could to get me fired. Wrote letters, wanted to sit down w/ owners to talk about it."

quote:

@BillSimmons The quote I just retweeted is an outright, 100 percent lie. I'd be careful, Glenn. Seriously. Stop talking. You are making sh*t up.
