Yeah. I think the huge difference between him and Cal is that Pastner has embraced the local kids. I always heard Cal used to shy away from the local kids because all of the background noise that comes with them. You sign a kid from Memphis you get him and all of their handlers among other things.
I do think Austin Nichols will turn out to be an absolute beast though.

Magic's 2nd rd guy was born in Germany, played at Miss St for a few yrs then transferred to OU, he is married with a daughter and is older than half our roster
But what gives me hope is a couple YT clips showing how much range he has as a shooter (always played in the paint in college because of his size) so that was very promising to see
