As an outsider, all I've ever heard about Memphis is the dirtiness and inflated crime rate. All I've ever heard about Nashville is a culture of music and art. And I know these perceptions have been standing probably as long as I've been alive. I'd say Nashville surpassed Memphis as a premier destination in Tennessee probably decades ago.

I didn't even think of that

growing up in nashville, I have always been a titans fan behind the saints. It's hard to not root for them.

I guess I have to hate St. Louis now?

Im saying there's history, not a rivalry with football. Rivalry tho, which to most blues fans isn't there yet, but has heated up. Soccer could be good. STL and Louisville have a nice little thing going, and Id assume Nashville would have better supporters than Louisville.

I for one would welcome the rivalry with the Blues. Preds need a good rivalry.

As much as 9-10 year old me despised the Rams I don't really think playing against each other in one super bowl counts as a rivalry

Nashville has lapped Memphis and left them in the dust. I'm just glad I bought my house in 2010 and have bought 4 other rental properties a few years ago.

nah the rivalry part was about blues and preds. The history in sports has to do with rams titans.
