In that pic, HRV is the eccentric billionaire gator guy, CG is the very large and very old gator. If you look at the pic you can see the two of us having some 1 on 1 personal time (Spoiler alert, HRV swims with the gator and the gator does not eat him).

Lake Placid is a 1999 American comedy horror film directed by Steve Miner and written by David E. Kelley. It is the first installment in the Lake Placid film series. The film stars Bill Pullman, Bridget Fonda, Brendan Gleeson, Oliver Platt, Betty White, Meredith Salenger, and Mariska Hargitay. Its story follows a giant crocodile terrorizing the fictional location of Black Lake, Maine, while a dysfunctional group of police and scientists attempt to capture or kill the beast.

Normally I do not watch these kinds of movies but this one was better than most and had a good cast. Sadly they made many more and each worse than the last.

FWIW, I would so do a 3 way with Bridget Fonda and Betty White. While Mariska Hargitay would go on to Law & Order fame, just did not move my needle as much. Meredith Salenger did less film work and went to Harvard and graduated tops in her class at Harvard Law. She married Patton Oswald (who clearly out kicked his coverage) and gave homely guys like me hope that we could land the hot chick.

Remember Jaws 3 where the shark followed them to Florida?
