Allman Brothers Band and Atlanta Rythm Section are still selling albums. Not sure the Allman Brothers were southern rock for the most part...may have been more mainstream than Skynard or Marshal Tucker. Marshal Tucker plays an ampitheater about 5 miles from me 10 times or more a year...great show still. Blackberry Smoke would have been HUGE in the 1970s and 80s but have a pretty good following as we speak and are getting bigger and bigger.

Saw Gov't Mule, Blackberry Smoke and Tedeschi Trucks in Missoula Montana several years ago. Fantastic 3 day music fest at Big Sky Brewery...and still some good hopper and dropper fishing going on in early September.
