If you can't understand that there are tons of people President Obama consults and that they operate behind the scenes (have you ever fricking read The Prince, you senseless pleb?) and that almost no decisions partaken by the President are truly his decision, then again: You're just some bumfrick hick without a clue.

Like the rest of the people damning President Obama in this thread.

Do I really believe that the last few decades of presidents have acted eerily similar regardless of party? Yes.

Hate to say it, but Donald Trump may be the only dude who isn't that ingrained in the system. He might be different enough to shake things up, which is why he terrifies everyone.

President Obama and President Bush are almost the exact same.

In fact, this operation "Fast and Furious" had another name under the Bush administration "Wide Receiver". It started two years prior...because like I said: The president does not matter.

The ATF began Project Gunrunner as a pilot project in Laredo, Texas, in 2005 and expanded it as a national initiative in 2006. Project Gunrunner is also part of the Department of Justice’s broader Southwest Border Initiative, which seeks to reduce cross-border drug and firearms trafficking and the high level of violence associated with these activities on both sides of the border.[5]

You're a retard.

How about digging a little deeper than Wikipedia and see what the differences where under Bush's "wide receiver" and Obama's "fast and furious" programs were.

frick, you are making me seem to be defending Bush, which I'm not. While I believe his heart was in the right place, he fricked up a lot of shite and you're right in that Obama double downed on a lot of his policies.. the situation remains... Obama appointed Holder and had influence on what agencies directed their resources towards. And as FOIA has forced from these agencies.. people.. UNDER OBAMA... broke the law in a blatant attempt to strip American's of their Constitutional Rights. This cannot be discredited or washed away.. or wished away. I have no idea why you feel the need to defend Obama on this or attempt to deflect.. but you are in the very wrong in this one particular situation.

I'm not. He's just the same as everyone else and saying "Obama" is just showing your stupid bias which I'm trying to guide you into seeing for yourself.

Can take it to the water, can't make it drink.

Obama, Bush, Clinton, doesn't matter.

"The first known ATF "gunwalking" operation to Mexican drug cartels, named Operation Wide Receiver, began in early 2006 and ran into late 2007."

It is what it is, whether it's national or local. It didn't start with the Obama Admin, and it won't stop when he leaves. :)

The policies Obama set forth in his administration is his to own. Same as the Patriot Act is for Bush, same as Clinton owns his mistakes in not taking down Bin Laden when he had the chance. Making out that a President has no culpability in policies under him is, to me.. .mindblowing. Each has policies that are a direct result of their influence on the heads of departments they appoint and the agenda's under taken.
