Idk if there's enough demand here for this thread or not but figured I'd start it in case somehow someone didn't know
We have FIVE tornado warnings across north MS right now all headed in a general swirling NWN direction while the whole system moves to the northeast
As the afternoon goes on the threat will move north and east
Personally from what I'm seeing currently I think the weather service is just living on the safe side but I am NOT a met and these ppl no much more about this than me

You can expect a lot of rain; not Houston or LA level but a lot

According to channel 5's sensor in Memphis there has not been a single bolt of lightning in north MS/Southern TN in the last 6 hours
That's Seems impossible

Hoping Tennessee weakens that monster before it slides into Kentucky. We're projected to get 4-5" tomorrow. No severe flooding, however.

Hendersonville(15 minutes from Nashville) is starting to flood a bit. Creeks have completely overtaken a few back roads and the lake is creeping up on main road and highway.
Going to rain all day and tomorrow. Some neighborhoods might get evacuated if it keeps up like what happen several years ago when Nashville was flooded.
