Beck is pretty amazing. It's really hard to do your own thing, stay relevant in the game, and even manage to successfully reinvent yourself at some point.
To me this one is a sardonic take on a "deep" modern pop song that's ultimately just empty, random nonsense. I associate it with that fake, emotional Los Angeles vibe that's probably fun at times but simultaneously absurd to actually live within day-to-day.
Of course that's just my opinion, maaannn.

I like that one too. So many people think he just has a couple of good songs and don't give the rest a chance. O'Delay is a great album.
