Scientists detect the ringing of a newborn black hole for the first time

Date:September 11, 2019

Source:Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Summary:Physicists have 'heard' the ringing of an infant black hole for the first time, and found that the pattern of this ringing does, in fact, predict the black hole's mass and spin -- more evidence that Einstein was right all along.

I find this stuff so fascinating !

A great article, good eyes on finding this one. My feed always gives me "Scientists discover that you can't make a frozen poop knife".
