ETA: You'll have A LOT of options in Beaufort. Lowcountry Produce is probably my favorite of the above. And idk if you've ever been to Beaufort before, but if you haven't you're in for a treat. Beautiful place steeped in and surrounded by history.

Lived there for a few years. Go down to the waterfront. 5-6 good restaurants and bars. Great park area over looking the water and intercostal
Breakwater - good stuff
Saltus *** really nice place. Nicer and a little more expensive but good
Q - great Beers and BBQ. Wings are amazing
Old Bull Tavern - cool bar with small plates
Plums
Wren
Emily's - small plates/Tapas
Saltus for a nicer dinner and Q for good night spot
Stay downtown near the waterfront park
City Loft Hotel
Beaufort Inn
Breakwater - good stuff

I chose Bricks on Boundry. As usual, while traveling I have so many emails that come in during the day I'm inundated at night.
It was close enough. I wish I could have more time to explore the waterfront but alas.
Bricks was pretty darn good.
Wings were meh but the fried oysters with bang bang sauce were excellent. Cooked to perfection.
I'd recommend giving it a try if you are ever in Beaufort.
