Just finished up in the summer and I remember reading something concerning this. Think we are changing to a plus/minus scale. I could be wrong
I would really hate this because I had a couple of difficult classes this semester that I BARELY scraped a low B and I want credit for that B...not a B-
shite was ridiculous, I had to really push at the end for those B's.

As someone who's undergrad motto was "good enough is" and finished most classes with a 89.6 average... pish posh to this sort of thing.

I think it would be ok if any A was a 4.0 then B+ 3.66 or whatever, B-3.5 or something like that and then B- 3.0. then so on for the other grades. It wouldn't hurt you in your case of getting a very low B. It would reward those that had high grades without punishing the lower end of the A's

Well first off, more than anything else, I think it adds complication that doesn't need to be added.
But from a personal standpoint, I think my 80 B is just as valuable as someone else with an 89 B because I put a shite ton of effort into it. I mean eventually it'll be 100 is A++++ 99 is A+++ 98 is A++ is 97 and 4.3, 4.2, 4.1 respectively. Something outlandish like that
My point is that is it really worth that much more? Someone in my situation needs points where I can get them because my gpa sucks. Yeah it was my fault but that's a-whole-nother issue that required me to grow the f up.
Of course, if they do decide to change it then I'll just deal with it and do the best I can and live with the grade I get.

I agree it adds complication. Id deal with it, well because you can't do anything but just move on
The good thing is gpa isn't everything in most fields

The liberal arts school I believe use it at ole miss and they are trying to push it into the other schools. I had a few professors try it out and hate it for how it can really frick a student.

I have a weird system and it's not even called GPA. But I guess I don't go to an SEC school
