There were 3 flagrant fouls in the fourth and the only one called was lebrons
Man come on. You might could have called a flagrant on Mahinmi for the wrap up because it was at the shoulders, but Scola's was a hard playoff foul.
I think there is way too much leniency given to offenses nowadays anyway. It has almost turned into a game that discourages teams to play defense, which is why the NBA isn't nearly as good as it used to be. Also a reason why I love watching the Pacers, because they're going to play defense and not give a frick about Miami's pussy arse bitching all the time.

Watch Dewayne Wade in the background. When I first saw it I literally

Then when he heard his teammates bitching he changed his tune real fast.

I wouldn't have necessarily been bothered if either of the pacer's fouls would have been called a flagrant, but Miami seems to be that team that bitches about everything no matter what. So I don't really sympathize with them when shite doesn't go their way.

Scola's foul wasn't a flagrant because he was targeting the ball.

dude came down onto lebrons face and followed through, I don't know how much I buy that. scola was going for a hard foul, and he didn't control where his hands were going

Dante Exum from Down Under
Exum, who won't turn 19 until July, excelled both at the Nike Hoop Summit and the Under-19 World Championships in the Czech Republic in 2013. He scored 33 points for Australia against Spain in the world quarterfinals, and more than held his own in Portland. He's already hired an agent and has been encamped in Los Angeles for the last few weeks -- and, given that his agent is also Kobe Bryant's agent, there's been more than a little speculation that the Lakers have targeted the talented teen.
"I bet you it's going to be a Dion Waiters situation where he's not going to work out for everybody; he's only going to work out for one or two teams," an Atlantic Division executive said. "He's not going to work out for Milwaukee. He's pretty good. All that stuff, for me, I like those kind of talented kids. But when you pick high up there, that's when you've got to know."
He is skinny, but he is explosive, possessing a dynamic first step that will allow him to get into the lane. He's already an extremely creative passer. His shot is a work in progress, but scouts said it has improved in the last year, to the point where he could be a combo guard in the pros.
"He's a stud," a Southwest Division executive said. "He's a real one. He's not one of those maybes. He's like [Kansas freshman Andrew Wiggins]. In the summer tournament, nobody could stop him. He was the best player in the world in the World Championships. He's got to gain weight, but that'll come. He's talented. You keep him as a combo, because you want him to learn both spots. I would just put him at the point and let him run it."
But it will take at least some powers of persuasion on the part of a team executive to convince his owner to pull the trigger on a teenager who has yet to play against men, and who spent the last year playing for Lake Ginninderra, the secondary school that is affiliated with Australia's Institute for Sport.
"Very few people saw him play. And that's going to be an issue," a Central Division executive said. "I don't care what anybody says. The fact that he hasn't played ... at least with Enes Kanter [drafted third overall by Utah in 2011], he didn't play the whole season for Kentucky [after being ruled ineligible by the NCAA], but he practiced every single day in Lexington. Teams could go down and see him play. I went to see him play and watch him play five on five with his team. You could see him and watch him play against four or five guys that were going to be pros."

FWIW, the two teams exum says hes going to work out for are the lakers and magic

Did you post that because you think he will be a laker, because you think he's like patty, or both?

a) because theres a chance the lakers draft him and
b) because its just general news about a potential top 5 draft pick

Elfrid Payton? Interesting. I thought you guys were looking into a 2 guard from Bosnia....can't remember the name

Wouldn't surprise me. I honestly don't know much outside of random sites mock drafts tbh and most of them have us picking Payton

Clint Capela I think is the guy...
He is 6'10 plays F and sleeker version of Timmy.
They stash him away for a couple years, bring in the guy from France they drafted last year and instant replacement for Timmy.
Timmy, Gnobli, and Pop all leave at end of this season.

They won't leave this season, bur maybe next. I still have some gut feeling that duncan will sign some contract after he's done that pays 30 mil over ten years all of it guaranteed (or something similar and less exaggerated). That way he can play as long as he wants without affecting cap space when he retires. Ginobili leaves though.

If (theoretically) kobe, nash, and pau all retire and have no guaranteed money left, how much cap space would your lakers have.
Posted on 3/27/14 at 2:12 pm to mrnegative
I think Pop takes over for Colangelo, Gnobli gets released or asked to retire, and Timmy retires.

frick ton. we already have enough for at the bare minimum 2 max contracts for the 2015 free agent class. I don't know if we go that route though. we are going to sign love, and then we might just sit tight and draft exum and pair him with lance Stevenson and use that core going forward. or we may take embiid and go the route of bringing in 2 big time players by 2015 in irving and love. well see. we have a good amount of cap space as is by 2015 because pau and nash will no longer be on the books by then
