Sorry for the OT thread - I'm just looking for a simple flour tortilla recipe. My AU board friends strongly suggested I ask HRV. Can you or anyone help a bro out? Bueller? Anyone?

That is the short version. I have done the googling and all but I know there are a lot of good cooks here whose recipes I'd rather try. War Eagle and thank you (all) in advance. I'm more than happy to return any favor I can.

You can buy flour tortillas already made for cheap. Don't know why you would want a recipe for them.

God help me... Walmart actually sells a dirt cheap and perfectly tasty flour tortilla.

I live in semi-rural Japan and no decent tortillas are easily available. And I did ask the food and drink board. Thanks for the tip. War Eagle.

In that case, I advise that you check out some Filipino food. Some of it is very similar to Mexican, in a slightly different wrapper. If you like burritos and tacos, you will love lumpia. And then there is pancit, man I love that stuff full of chicken hearts.

Oh, and here's my really simple biscuit and gravy recipe: Bust a biscuit open and pour some gravy on it. It's delicious.
