We're debating the same. I suspect we'll end up somewhere, but I'm not sure where that will be yet.

Pelican house is one of the places I've started to consider because i can get pitchers of canebrake. I went for the Brazil game and it probably had 10 people in it. I imagine today will be packed though

The Londoner is USA headquarters but it's going to be packed and I don't want to drive all the way to Sherwood.

Likely looking at Pelican House or Walk-Ons if we end up anyware.

I've gotta dry my liver out after this weekend so watching at home. Leaving work early to get home in time though.

Pretty stellar opening weekend of games. After that penalty debacle in the first game I thought the officiating was pretty solid. Only real surprise was Spain getting their teeth kicked in, and on a smaller scale Costa Rica looking as good as they did.

the P house is so close it makes it easy. Plus they have some great bar food

I got here before sunrise so I can get out on time to get home and get ready. Productivity level zero today.

Probably the best opening weekend to a WC I can recall. Spain getting dominated. The Swiss comeback. Costa Rica pulling the shocker. England/Italy was an entertaining match. Lots of goals, no draws...doesn't get better than this.

Now...I must find a way to stream Germany/Portugal later today.

Italy winning has made it a good cup so far. The only negative has been the dirty mexicans winning.

Mexico provided the worst match of the tournament so far. Them winning made it worse. Good news is they likely lose Tuesday. Brazil going to tare that arse up.

I really hope Germany wins today. Should have them at 6 points and already through when we play them. I don't want to need a result against a Germany team fighting to advance.

England/Italy is the only match I didn't get to watch at all. Some others I only watched a few minutes of, but had to put some family time in at the pool during that match.

Got a busy week at work and extracurriculars with the kids so won't get to watch as much this week.

Didn't help that they played in driving rain.

Doesn't care...it's all Mexico's fault. Like terrorism, famine, communism, and AIDS are all Mexico's fault.

An astute observation.

Following on Twitter, but it sounds like Portugal is kind of a mess out there.
