I'm quite surprised by this result. Concacaf dominance.

Been treated to better matches than I anticipated today.

Colombia scoring early stopped the Greeks from ruining that match. Then Costa Rica plays agressive, takes the game to Uruguay, and gets a shocking but we'll deserved result. Uruguay isn't getting out of that group period.

So next is the big game of the day with European powers Italy and England. I'm fricking ready.

almost guaranteed to be a disappointing match since the lesser matches earlier today were both great

The Italian national anthem is as long as Freebird.

You should hear the Mexican one -- I hear they actually do a reduced version of it.

Furthermore, for everyone else, I'll be taking Thursday off.

Sidebar: how about the number of goals so far? Only the Mexico game had less than 2 goals and it was played in a fricking monsoon. A game with Greece involved had 3 goals for the love of all that is unholy! Been a much more entertaining product as compared to four years ago. I hope the casual fans are watching, because it's been great.

And let's go England.

Is anyone else getting solely an "above the field" view?
