I don't want to have to grow up and get fat and ugly and have to pay for shite and never get a summer break. That sounds miserable

Yep. Thats what hurt me. I had pretty good grades and got a 24 on the ACT, 30 in english, so I have a full ride at ICC. Might as well use it and get my basics out of the way.

I tried the real world in the summer. I got a 72 hour a week job, in a warehouse, in the Mississippi heat. Started paying bills around the house and for gas. Real world sucks.

I have a 3.5 gpa right now but my classes are only getting harder. I made a 22 on the ACT but it was my first attempt FWIW

I did it in Alabama heat and yeah it sucked but don't expect sympathy from me
I'm running our UPS/MFRT shipping dept now after working my arse off at the bottom

Well it is a community college. I was in the top 85% in the state. Not a good sign. I just need to get my Math score (18) up. I'm probably going to take it again this summer.

I get 20 days vacation plus a decent bonus.
Of course I only get to choose one week of my own. The rest I get 2 weeks for Christmas.

8 weeks of summer break + a week for thanksgiving + 3 weeks for Christmas + spring break week + 4 days for Easter + Holidays like MLK day.

Oh and I'm in the elements. 13 degree weather tomorrow.. frick that noise.
Only thing that sucks is my boss has been an over achiever since he was hired on back in October so I've been having to pull 55-65 hour weeks.
