Table Rock is gorgeous. Branson is a terrible place unless you're 60+ years old.

Actually, you're SUPER wrong. The Branson strip is awful, but all the locals know to stay off Hwy 76.
The Branson Landing, Big Cedar, Table Rock, the area's wineries, moonshine distillery, etc. are all awesome.

It depends on what you are going down there to do. I enjoy heading down for a night when it's warm and going to dinner on the Landing. If you love the outdoors then it's tough to beat the Cantina Laredo patio on a summer night.
