I've been over it during an ice storm and I've been over it during a snow storm
both heading north out of Atlanta when I lived in middle Tennessee - slide off the mountain and die or don't
I loved two Sewanee football players off that mountain that became two world class football coaches
as we all know, Yankees don't know shite about ice storms. Southerners know them

That is completely untrue. The North receives more freezing rain events per year on average.
Southern roads are slicker during winter weather events because wet snow turns into compacted ice, unlike the dry snow in the North which just blows around and isn't hard to drive in. The South also has less salt to spread around in anticipation of wintry precipitation events.
