And you're going to come in here talking about food cities.
I like a ton of different kinds of foods. Just not cajun and creole.

not like they do here, and I have been fishing all over the southeast coast.
if you have to ask why it is better, you should make a trip to see what it is all about.

ATL wins for just shear variety and quality for any kind of food you might have a hankering for. Cajun included....
Ok, now I know you're playing us a little.
I know ATL has a great ethnic food scene and a strong food scene in general. It's a major city. I know for Korean and Ethiopian I'd rather be there. We got our own Vietnamese though, and some damn strong efforts on that front.

There is a little place out in NO East that has amazing Vietnamese food. I think it is a front for their heroin operation but it sure is tasty.

OK so if I can cooler out on redfish in 20 minutes, and you can cooler out on redfish in 18 minutes, I'd call that a draw. What's really the difference?

Hey now. I love living in the burbs.

I don't eat cajun so it doesn't matter to me.
It's hard to fathom, unless for some reason you've never had it done right.
If you like Vietnamese, French, Spanish, and food from the Islands, then you like Creole/Cajun if you know it or not.
All this talk of Vietnamese makes me want a bowl of Pho on this dreary day.

I'm not going to weigh in here, but can we all agree that Texas is (seriously) superior to every other state in the South?

What's the name? I'm going to find myself down there this weekend and really want some Vietnamese now.

Texas isn't the south. I've also spent months in Texas. It's not that great. I'd take NOLA over any place in Texas.

Size, the experience, location variety. i mean fishing is fishing, but I have yet to experience similar runs than I have around here.
Multiple trips I've been throwing back Bull Reds all afternoon because they were running so hard. Still was catching the good eating size too.
One time I was fishing from this old camp out in the marsh. Literally a house and a dock on some pilings coming out of this tiny little marsh patch. There were five of us and we limited out so quick on specks that we bent the barbs on the hooks so we could keep catching and throwing them back.I couldn't tell you how many I reeled in that night.
Had some other noteworthy trips to that camp but never experienced anything like that night.
