I thought it would be better at a university compared to community college, and nope, same feeling, but worse.
Community college kids are interested in life stories. University kids are spoiled little shits who don't know you exist until you disagree with them lol.

Yea dude I couldn't do it. It was beautiful driving through in September when the fields had that late summer glow but I'm not sure I could handle winter there. I love the Midwest but it's gotta be hill country for me.

It's crazy weather now too. It was 80 degrees last week in that picture. Low tonight is 32.

I figured USAREC told recruiters to do that. Its cool he did that and I bet he has no problems with mission. That looks like a solid station.

Dude, I was going to say those same words. I was going to say they are liars, they haven't made mission consistently in awhile, especially component/category.
I was also going to comment on the branding also. It's a consistent look, but it's plain. Where as I had to have painters come in because a wall was the wrong shade. We're also set up differently when it comes to branding. All we need is for them to come in and do a sales presentation and we got them. That's what the Army is missing. That and putting in the hours - even though I worked too many it was pointless

Yea I agree. You're spot on. There's more at play than just the branding. Now that I'm completely out I can really feel comfortable speaking my mind and that whole organization is just doomed. Yea the branding and marketing is fricked but everything else is as well. The culture is terrible; suspending and investigating recruiters for the smallest things, cutting SDAP, systems that fail for months at a time, promoting 100% of 79Rs to E-7 multiple years in a row, including one that was in jail on murder charges. It's just doomed. frick them, they don't deserve to make mission.

Sometimes I get it and it's warranted, like anything involving sexual allegations and the like, but other than that I think it's fricking dumb. At one point 10% of USAREC's assigned recruiter strength was flagged for investigations on fraudulent OPATs (a physical fitness test tied to MOS choice they just started a couple years ago) and those flags were in place for nearly a year. That fricking murders morale and they sit up there scratching their heads about why half of USAREC rolls doughnuts every month.
