Serious question...
Seems like a cult to me. In a few years similar to the Manson family.

Yeah I’ve never understood the reverence that People have for her. They treat her as if she is royalty. It’s really bizarre. I think SNL had a spot on skit about it all several years ago, and since then it’s only intensified. 
Personally, I don’t have anything against her. She’s not making my kind of music so she’s of little interest to me...but it is weird.
