Ive only ever finished one of his books, the city and the stars. He makes a point of bashing religion at one point in the book, saying that the death of civilized societies built on science and truth is destroyed and displaced by mad men with lies about deities.

Saw some pictures that were supposedly taken from a security reel of the island. Everyone was sitting on buckets. Don't know what level of validity the pictures had but they were weird
