the virus or the fact that it took a virus to make folks finally clean their arse after taking a shite

in 3-4 weeks when colleges and schools open back up will folks go back to not using toilet paper?

Yeah the TP craze is really strange. I mean gastro distress isnt a problem with this illness. Never underestimate the power of stupid people and social media

I think the concern is either one of two events happening.

1. A supply-chain disruption which keeps new stock of TP from reaching the store (either because the logging industry is shut down by the pandemic or because the paper manufacturing facilities are closed down).

2. A local/state/national quarantine that keeps you from being able to leave your residence.

Right now Italy is locked down except for going to the grocery store, going to the pharmacy, and going to healthcare appointments. I haven't done enough reading on the subject to see how the stores are getting resupplied or anything like that.

If that were to happen in the US, which manufacturing facilities would be allowed to remain open. Would it be only food producers, or would producers of basic necessities be allowed to continue (limited) operations as well.

I believe manufacturing businesses are still open in Italy.
