I hunt with them. And test them. Then breed them if they pass testing, OFAs and other blood and genetic tests. I do 2 litters max a year. 2 chocolate half sisters & 2 black labs(mother and daughter).
Like this year I haven’t had any litters. But last year I had 1.
The chocolate is the older of the sisters and the black is the mother of the puppy.

Barely. I breed to my own standards and what I want. Then sell the rest. I breed for keeper pups.
