I'm just figuring all of this out. I can't eat apples or bananas for some reason. I was doing OK with white bread, but the pain from the gallbladder made me just stick with the gluten free bread. As I said about the BBQ chicken, I can eat that if there's no marinade or at least use gluten free marinade. Greek yogurt is another option. I did try drinking a beer for my friends bday a couple weeks ago and mozzarella bites with it. That was a mistake. Nothing with breaded batter will go down good for me. Popsicles are a great snack ans so are the gluten free protein bars.

When I do eat something with gluten it makes me fatigued, nauseous and gives me brain fog like the flu wood. At first I went to a clear liquid diet for 48 hours then started introducing other stuff that I stated above to see what I could and could not tolerate.

One other thing about the gallbladder issues I had is that any kind of stimulant made it exponentially worse. Even just one can of coke fricked me all up. It supposedley makes the gallbladder clinch down like a vice.

If I tried that gum trick, I could easily see myself choking to death on it.

bro, when you posted this yesterday morning, I was on my way 30 miles south to pick my little brother off the floor and get him into a recliner

after sleep and water he was able to stand and walk a little - he's gotten anemia

he's had a stroke 6 years ago

and he's the most hard headed human being on the planet, so that really helps

I've learned more from your posts than from my doctor. She just told me to watch what I eat lol. Lettuce bothers me if I eat more than a slice.

Sounds like you need to try the GAPS diet and see what you can and can’t have by starting over completely.

He seems to have a good grasp of his condition and what to eat or not. I'm new to this so I need to try the Gaps.

Lexi, what have you been up to?

Not too much. Family things. They love holidays. Hunting. Staying off the internet.

I haven't been hunting in years. I think gun season comes in the 25th.

I was hoping he would fire when he had the gun butt against his nutsack. The recoil would have been hilarious.

I only hunted deer.

He should have looked down the barrel to see if it was loaded.
