No lie, I helped out a self professed old timer on the help board on how to post images. He thanked me, and I replied “no worries we admins aim to please”. Rummy suspended my account for 9 months. Would have been longer until I emailed them and said, “Look guys,…”

I've never been warned against it, but I've always assumed they'd get pissed about that stuff, and that's why I always make it clear to y'all (or anyone) that I'm not really a mod when you accuse me of such.
I also like to spend about 75% of my time on that board actually helping people and the other 25% making fun of everyone else.

I've never been warned when pretending to be an admin. I'm assuming Alyosha was sniffed out as an alter (or at least very new), so they canned him.

When I have to call customers and they ask me 6 times who I am, I always want to respond with "THIS IS FLAMING DRAGON!!" just to see what they'll say.
