My Uncle had chest pains all of last week, but because his son was going through a bitter divorce hearing he didn't bother to go to the hospital.

He had a major heart attack and is fighting for his life right now.

Go to the doctor folks. If something is wrong go to the doctor. Don't wait for a good time. Your health is more important than anything else.

Lol there’s no thread that’s bad to troll in bud.

If someone actually thought medicine causes cancer, do you think they would be swayed by this thread?

Do you believe that someone on the fence of whether they want to go to the doctor is going to read OP be swayed and then read Pio’s post and go “oh wait a minute, pio says medicine causes cancer. Better rethink this”

Quit being a contrarian. It's about showing respect. Simple as that.

Showing respect would be contrarian around here

We aren't sure but he took a turn for the worse today when his kidneys stopped functioning. They think if they can get enough fluid off his heart they have a shot at a successful surgery.

I hate to quibble, but accepting Christ is certainly more important.

My Uncle has made a great recovery... granted after they moved him from a rural Mississippi hospital to Memphis, but Memphis is really one of the great medical centers of the United States.

He is off the ventilator and is doing fine... other than suffering from aphasia. He can understand people but when he tries to speak it is just gibberish. They asked him to recite the Pledge of Allegiance and all he got right was "I". He thinks everything he said was fine. It is something that can be fixed with time but it is very difficult right now, as I am sure you can all imagine.

Take care of yourself. You never know when something will happen.

Wonderful news, Sulli.

Like the delicate southern belle that I am, I once passed out in front of a group of people and I could hear them say err ‘Piggi you ok, you ok, you ok?’ to which I could have sworn i kept saying ‘yes, I’m fine’ but evidently it was about the tenth time that I thought I said it, that I actually said it. That’s a very weird feeling.
