You know, for Christmas it is customary to give someone a gift that will bring joy and happiness. Not nightmares will scar them mentally for life.

As China once again uses its favorite strategy of dealing with foreign invaders. Simply absorb them into that vast population.

China and Rome were the two great empires of ancient times but they were, in many ways, a dichotomy of one another. While China could be aggressive and expansionary they were, for the most part, fairly passive. Usually they were content to stay on the defense.

Rome, on the other hand, was hyper aggressive. Going to war with Rome often meant that they would throw armies at you until you simply had no one left to defend yourself. It was that very aggression that destroyed the Empire (Western and Eastern versions) through brutal civil wars waged alongside foreign campaigns that drained the treasury. Hard men created very hard times for Rome.

Two Jehovah's Witnesses die and go to Heaven.

As they're knocking at the Pearly Gates, St Peter turns around and whispers...
"Turn out the lights and everybody be quiet!! Maybe they'll think we're not home."
