Investigating some barn options over here. Need something to facilitate easier handling of client critters but I also want it to double as something for personal use.

Where I live with some of the winds we get I won't have anything built unless it's all steel.
This is a red iron bolt up 40 wide 30ft deep covered calving barn that will have an open side to the east.
I will have a concrete floor and the barn will sit on a 15 inch concrete stem wall.
I'll have 4 sets of calving pens 10x14 with a 8 foot alley centered between the pens having 2 on each side of the alley. One of the 4 pens will be a 10x10 Sioux calving pen. 58K for the build then I'll have some cost on building the inside pens, lighting and security cameras.

I like the all steel approach, especially since I rely on the steel mills here to employ most of my clients. Opening to the east would make my Dad and his Dad proud of you. It is far better for your psyche and your knuckles to hire it done and the $ sounds good.
