It's a big relief.

And that's enough to last all winter?

It should be enough. Last year I was already throwing hay out because of the drought. We desperately need rain here but my pastures are in Great shape from the early rains this year.

Afternoon All

Made a quick trip to OKC this morning to Costco. Last year I watched games on the cow lot 55 inch TV on the left and a 65. Got a 98 inch this morning.
55 on the left 98 on the right. Ready for week 0 next weekend.

Joke of the Day

Shy but handsome fellow is sitting at a club, sipping a cocktail, and sees a beautiful woman seated alone at the bar. After an hour of screwing up his courage he finally heads over to her and asks tentatively, "Um, hi. Would you mind if I chatted with you for a while?" She responds by yelling, at the top of her lungs, "No, I won't sleep with you tonight!" Everyone in the bar turns in unison and stares at them. Naturally, the poor guy is hopelessly and completely embarrassed and he shuffles back to his table. After a few minutes, the woman walks over to him and apologizes. She smiles at him and says, "I'm sorry if I embarrassed you. You see, I'm a graduate student in psychology and I'm studying how people respond to embarrassing situations." To which he responds, at the top of his lungs, "What do you mean, 200 dollars an hour!

I'm thinking about breaking out the 12 inch portable TV for football this year. I figure if I put it on the other side of the room I can "watch" the Razorbacks play this year without actually having to see the carnage.

Coughs *bullshite, bullshite*. Ahem. Sorry there. White, who was a piece of trash, knew where the colonists were. They had moved in with the local Indian tribes.

Like most tribes, Native Americans firmly believed in the bigger tribe wins, and were usually happy to take in new comers as long as they could feed them.

White peddled the Indian massacre theory, which eventually caught on, to cover the fact that he had essentially abandoned the colony. Long term this did incredible damage to the Native American population (already dealing with multiple super plagues unleashed on them) as European settlers were inclined to believe every Indian was out to kill them.

I hope they surprise you and have a better year than you're thinking. I have always liked the Hogs.

Morning folks. I would say good morning but the existential dread of Razorback football is weighing heavily.
