Maybe, maybe 1/10th of the shite put in recycle bins actually gets recycled....most of it ends up in the landfill.....recycling is a crock of shite

I am very against virtue signaling and slacktivism. For example in Nashville so many people are posting pictures of the tornado damage jsut to show how much they "care." That does literally nothing.

However, if taking away straws and styrofoam cups helps out the environment and animals in the grand scheme of things, when why not get rid of them? im sure everyone will adapt to the alternative just fine

Jeez dude...do you realize that 90% of the shite you put in your recycle bin and then put on the curb for the recycling truck to pick up ends up in the landfill? That's my point...which most of you missed

You're obviously a pathological liar

I'm sure I remember I'm not close to the first on here who've diagnosed you in that way

Good for them. I’m as conservative as it gets but I loath styrofoam and plastic bags..I see it littered all over the roads and in the lakes and rivers and creeks that I love to fish.
Thank you hippies for doing something constructive besides getting weed legalized. Bring that to Alabama and my tree farm may actually bring something besides $6 per ton.

IDK. It depends on the city. Fayetteville claims to actually make a profit off of their recycling materials. Could just be propaganda.

That's kind of how I feel about it. If it helps keep streams and parks cleaner, then good deal. Most people will just pay the fee and forget it.

I'm willing to pay $9 for grocery delivery. I don't mind paying 70 cents for 7 plastic bags.

Hopefully the fees are directed to litter pickup or something useful.

Lioneld doing work. How he keeps getting elected is amazing. At least Steve Clark has an Education and real jobs to use as qualifications

Only good thing Lioneld has ever done is Megan.

This is the work of Teresa Turk, the new westside alderman.

She's against pretty much every development, and has done little other than invent environmental legislation.

Lioneld is garbage. Matt Petty for mayor.

Who is Petty? I am sure he will make Fayetteville a better place. Lioneld has completely gutted the place his non leadership is sickening I’m glad I don’t live in town anymore

Clark isn’t allowed to hold office anymore but he’s part of FPS and will screw it up

Lioneld is a little socialist clown who likes to virtue signal, weep on MLK day, and generally isn't intelligent or qualified enough to be the mayor of Alma. The fact that he is mayor of Fayetteville is a big joke. It's all the Boomer Hippies. He's one of them, and they love him. He's clueless regarding just about every issue that I care about, and I've never voted for him.

Petty is a liberal, but intelligent, and cares about good planning, urban design, and code enforcement.

He gives lip service to the far lefties, but he isn't one of them.

I mean all he is is a janitor that the Physical Plant basically told go away. He tried to unionize them and almost got all of them fired. I do like unions, but not in a college Physical Plant.

Lioneld is just a professional cry baby andnot even good at that.
