its not a "messed up" type of thing. not to get all spiritual, but it for sure has its benefits.
pretty much everyone who hasnt tried it says the same thing you just said, including me.

I'm not sure I'd like seeing things and such- I may have a heart attack or something.
You know, it's actually been my experience with those substances that the visual effects are tertiary to the body effects and peace of mind that comes with their use.
The visual stuff can be really cool, but sometimes you won't even get much of that going on with even strong doses of some of the others substances like LSD.
Although I will say that one time I ate a half ounce of shroomies at once and that was quite an experience. Like others are saying it's actually hard to describe. It makes you feel small and insignificant.
Also, with a strong dose of LSD the best part, to me, is when you get those intense waves of energy that pass through your body. It's like you can actually feel the Ying energy coming straight up out of the ground and passing through your body exiting your head. Over and over again. It is pretty bitchin.

I just had a Eureka moment.
The reason it feels like you can feel the Ying energy coming out of the ground is because you can. When the Chinese practice Qigong they are attempting to put the spine in proper alignment to facilitate a mesh point for Ying and Yang energies to transfuse with one another at the lower Dan Tien. In order for this to happen naturally it takes years of practice and meditation.
However, with LSD, you may be expediting that process considerably because the LSD actually does its thing by creating new neural pathways across the synaptic clefts in the nervous system.
It actually turns the body into a better ANTENNA for the Earth energies. Which you can actually FEEL CONSTANTLY while on LSD.
Very interesting. It would explain why people seem to experience telepathy and shite like that while on the drug. Because THEY ARE.

Sounds like a good time, man!
Interesting you say this. The Native American Indians (and several other older cultures) have maintained that growing ones hair out is critical for being able to maintain the body's ideal state of health.
The story goes that during the Vietnam War the US Military began recruiting Native American trackers for their expertise in tracking game through the woods (obvious reason. Fighting in the jungle), but the recruits all report that they can't track in the woods anymore because the Army cut their hair off. Same reason why the Japanese seemed to be so possessive of that "top knot" all the dudes wore.
Because your abilities are heightened by that hair. It's an antenna for ESP.
Or so the story goes.

Lol one of my employees is native and has access to all types of things.
Tripped mushrooms this weekend. fricking fantastic. He's got a shaman trip planned for me this summer. Also, smoking tobacco in a sweat lodge with the elders is supposed to be insane.
Ayahuasca is fricking ridiculous.
Gonna try peyote as well. Might not come back

Also, one more thing on this subject in case anyone out there hasn't tried it but has considered it...
The thing you'll hear a lot about these substances is "bad trip."
Well I'm here to tell ya there's no such thing. If you happen to have an extra introspective experience and begin to have negative emotions, it's the medicine doing its thing. It causes people to question themselves in the grand scheme of things and often times people who have demons to fight end up fighting them right then and there.
They have began using these things to treat severe alcoholism. And that's how it works. It causes you to confront that weakness in your head on. And it helps.
Bad trip = good medicine. If you try it again after that, you'll enjoy yourself much more once the Boogeyman is gone and then you'll see you're a fundamentally changed person moving forward.
ETA: and this is the reason why they have so-called "spirit quests". Boy leaves the village, wanders the woods tripping balls, comes back a man.
It changes your perspective.

There wasn't any sense of time at all while it was happening, but once I was fully back down to earth it felt like everything before was days ago when in reality it had just been a few minutes.
But even though the visual hallucinations with Salvia are very short, I would notice that for hours afterwards it was like my brain was operating on a different pathway. I was seeing things and thinking about things in ways that I never had before.

100 percent agree. Bad trip usually means something came up that you dont really want to or are prepared to address.
But also i guess it depends on what you are using it for. If are using it thinking you gonna see pretty lights and listen to music and next thing you know youre in the middle of the universe questioning your own mortality....some made call it bad ahahahah
