I am not. I am saying the church at large has made a bigger deal out if homosexuality being so terrible while ignoring that the divorce rate amongst Church goers is not different than the world's. What I am saying is that they pick and choose sins to make a big deal about while ignoring the plank in our own eye.

On the whole, that's never going to change because we humans rate sin on a scale of importance. Always have, always will. Rating sin is the basis of our legal system. A fistfight rates 6 hours, a shooting 6 years. God doesn't work that way. It's a yes/no proposition with him and we all fall on the no side.
We're a fallen creation and thus we will always find something to consider worse than whatever particular temptation ensnares us.
