We had a wonderful Saturday. We did our weekend battlefield tour.

I hate going home for short periods of time.
I’m not going home for a holiday that’s one day and then you’re back at work the next day

Home is 6.5 hours away and we were going to spend 5 days there, then drive from there to OK for a wedding that’s now canceled.
I haven’t seen my family since January, and with a new baby due in June, we won’t be going home for a while after that. And I won’t let my parents travel here to see the new baby if coronavirus is still going around. There’s a pretty good chance I won’t get to see my family at all until October or November. RANT [OFF] ON
But point taken-those 2 day turnaround home trips suck.
I haven’t seen my family since January, and with a new baby due in June, we won’t be going home for a while after that. Yea my home is far too (10ish or so hours if I drove) and haven’t seen em since Christmas
But I’m not taking 5 days for that shite.
