ETA...also, the Aisle of Shame (discount this and that in an aisle all by itself)

It's the great value brand of Trader Joe's. Nothing special.

It's a really efficient German grocery store chain.
They have good quality but you sacrifice choosing between 18 different brands in order to get lower prices
Not always worth it if they are lower in prices. It also depends on the quality of the products. I shop at different stores for quality and lower prices. Not going to do it just for lower prices alone.
Trader Joe's is another one that is own by one brother from Aldi. I shop at both places. I pick and choose from both stores as well from other stores around in St. Louis. Plus, I shop online too. It all depends on what is available and/or convenience for me.

I’ve been shopping there for a couple years now. It’s part of my shopping: Winn-Dixie, sams, and Aldi. I like Publix but it’s expensive; only go now for a chicken tender pub sub. Sounds trashy, but damn good.
At Aldi I almost always just get dairy (can’t tell the difference), fresh veggies, frozen veggies, gyro kit, bread (it’s probably orowheat; packaged the same), condiments, take and bake pizza (massive and decent for cheap), and oddball German stuff. Bought a great fresh, spicy sauerkraut recently. Their Brie is also decent and cheap. Their braunschweiger is also decent and cheap.
You just have to feel it out; some stuff is not worth it, other items are way undervalued.

Yeah, the price and quality (and sometimes availability) of certain groceries vary so much now, it's become increasingly necessary to get a few things here, a few things there, etc.
Really getting to be a pain in the arse having different lists for different stores.

Sometimes you can find really good German bier there on the cheap. Their produce section is very nice
