I agree that Springfield is most often a pretty safe place. Had you been at the scene of the racial rally at SMS you would not be making light of the situation. In these times what I saw would have been all over the news and was much worse than the recent SAE incident in O.K. U. Back then there were no cell phones, very few video cameras and no social media. It was a confrontation between blacks (mostly students) and white students (mostly frat guys) that was very close to some serious violence.

I was just curious if kills or any others had ever heard about this incident.
