When I was in college, I was pulled for not signaling a lane change to avoid a trash can in the road on my way to class. I remember the first time post college that I drove past a cop going 10 mph over the speed limit and not getting a ticket. I felt liberated.

I have no problems with Auburn PD and what the guy said. He's right in the fact that a new set of idiots roll in every fall and they are Auburn students. Same with every other college town. In my time here I've come to respect the APD for their work. They aren't here to frick over AU students. The only ones that get arrested are the ones that usually are doing something stupid enough to deserve arrest.

He did not get fired. The person who made the recording got fired and has leaked it to support his cause.

I agree with him. Incoming freshman are idiots and will do stupid shite and you've got to stay on top of them and let them know that youre there and you will bust them if they act a fool. Around here freshman will walk around the Strip with open containers thinking its cool until they slapped with an open container, MIP, and most likely PI.
