Mix of everything but mostly clay. Small 30 acre patch I ordered 3 semi loads of lime to get spread on it. Hopefully that will loosen it up and make it more productive.
When it's dry the chisel skips on top of the ground.

I had most of the rocks picked up in a field on my home place and I let dad chisel it. He chiseled it deep now I have a lot more rocks to pick up.
