Never too old if the jam is solid.

I like it when a young thin dude knows how to keep "Big Pimpin" alive and well in the streets of NOLA in this new century!

This is a bit modern and much more contemporary but imagine being a much younger man "back in the hills" at a funeral and to hear this by a 8 part a cappella male set of singers with a combined sound that still sends a shiver up my spine after all these years of living.

While this would later be covered by "Madonna" this is from a very popular singer of the 60's and 70's in the early age of the ROCK OPERA

Karen Carpenter is the female singer of the historical figure Eva Peron

The Who did several ROCK OPERA's (best known was probably "Tommy") I preferred this lesser known one as the English response to "West Side Story" between the "mods" & "rockers"

Here is the original trailer from the movie that had so many bit hits

Dubbed the "Rhinestone Redneck" and many of his songs are now "offensive" by the PC crowd, David Allen Coe did so many songs loved by the C&W set even if they were not in the "high society" set.

Cheese, I require your musical advice. A friend is looking for a... non famous Dolly Parton. By which she means someone who doesn't sound like anyone else and projects a real character in her songs. Preferably country or blues. I suggested Patsy Cline but she wants someone not as well known. Janis Joplin got shot down too.

Help me Cheesey Wan Gritsnobi, you are my only hope.

Probably my favorite Eagles tune, but if you like late 60's and have never heard of "The Flying Burrito Brothers" you might be surprised who they spawned even tho they never had commercial success.
