quote:
The Drunk Scotsman
Will you marry me, pretty Peggy-O?
If you will marry me I will set your cities free,
And free all the people in the area-O.
I would marry you, sweet William-O.
I would marry you but your guineas are too few,
And I fear my mama would be angry-O.
What would your mama think, pretty Peggy-O,
What would your mama think if she heard my guineas clink?
Saw me ridin' at the head of my soldiers-O?
If ever I return, pretty Peggy-O,
If ever I return oh your cities I will burn,
Destroy all the people in the area-O.

riffs and arrangement have some of The Wizard from Black Sabbath and (bridge) Aneurism from Nirvana (ETA: Muddy Banks version, the only version) and from something at the 1:07 to 1:12 mark that I'm trying to think of .... ETA: Touch Me I'm Sick from Mudhoney
2:08 to 2:24 seems inspired by Black Sabbath in general
Sincerly,

Self-anointed Music "Genius"
I love it

You nailed it!

People probably (definitely) think I'm crazy, but IMO Jack White is one of the greatest guitarists of all time. I've actually snuck him in these threads before with The Dead Weather.
Some of their stuff is described as "garage-rock Delta blues":
Filthy

Good Lord man, I must be extremely Scottish.

Based on that list, I feel like most of us here are, in spirit.

I'm gonna look at this later
I don't know shite - I played the trumpet in 5th grade and "played the base drum in 8th grade" (???) - whatever that means
i have a piano and a guitar in my living room for decoration that I might start playing with a little more once God-knows-what happens - nuclear annihilation imminent, okay, I'll start banging on the piano a little more, but not really

Same with this one — God bless her, one of the brightest burning candles in the 27 club.
You just have to ignore that those last few years even existed.
