It's not like they're all acting like rednecks, everyone is just dressed in ridiculous outfits and day drinking. That's about all it is and it's a blast.

People that don't like rodeo are the same people that just generally suck. At life in general.

In the years that I was in Alpha psi and had a hand in planning this thing we had our Rodeo day picked and on the books (with notification to the university) before A day date was ever chosen (that's what the university told us anyway). Planning for the next rodeo starts within a few weeks after it's over. We had to start doing it like that when people kept expecting big name bands.
ETA: For the people saying how awful this sounds. No hard feelings - stay home - rodeo already has more fans than it can handle
