What about Dread Zeppelin...an Elvis Impersonator sings reggae versions of Led Zeppelin songs and they sound great.
The Black Crows are heavily influenced by Led Zeppelin but I wouldn't call them a rip-off.
Billy Squire definitely stole Led Zeppelin.
While it is true that Led Zeppelin ripped off old blues artists for much of the content their first 2 albums, I believe it wasn't out of malice, and they sound much better. A drug-addled hippie knows nothing about copyright laws (I'm referring to Jimmy Page) Most of their next 6 albums were mostly original.
If I was stuck on a desert Island I would definitely choose Led Zeppelin over the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and the Who. Actually, I can think of 25 musical acts I would choose over the Who.

What if you were stuck on a tundra island?
It's funny when we discover in adulthood that a saying or phrase we thought we knew was something else. Like in this case where you thought the saying was "desert" island when it is "deserted" island.
If I were stuck on a desert, tundra, or deserted island, my choice would be the Stones out of the ones you mentioned. I love LZ but it has to come in small doses. After about 5 songs I need a break to another band. I can listen and enjoy the Stones for much longer periods of play. But if I had my choice one compilation of music to have on a deserted island I would have every Steely Dan album ever made.
